Thermal R&D Exhausts

I am trying to get a Thermal Exhaust, but before i do, has anyone put one on their CL? I am assuming one from a 94-97 accord coupe will work. Any comments would be appreciated.

I have a thermal exhaust on my cl. It was for the 94-97 accord and it fits perfectly. It's also, in my opinion and several others, one of the best sounding exhausts I've ever heard. It's a really deep sounding exhaust and the exhaust tip looks ALMOST stock. Another good thing about it is that it's full stainless steel and it'll hold up pretty well. If you want I'll put up some pix of it.

Very nice to hear. He just won the auction and he got a good price for it. This will be his 4th exhaust. Stock, angled like JDM 3A muffler, 3"/4" apexi N1 turbo muffler, and now this Thermal RD

All of them have had fitment issues due to being 'custom'. And they all get torn up and are loud as crap. Hopefully this one will be the keeper. Post some pictures up 2.2CL, he would love to see how the fitment is.

I have never used Thermal Exhaust but from what I have seen and Heard thay are quality peices. Full cat-back exhaust stainless steel and a nice deep tone. Kinda loud but probably bearable. Just so you know I think you were on the right track with the apexi exhaust, not the n-1 but the W.S. which is over looked also. It is a very quiet good looking exhaust and the 94-97 accord cat-back will fit the cl. It is quieter because it is not a free flowing muffler like most of the ones everybody uses. You get a better exhaust without excessive noise.

Well he would have opted for whatever came on Ebay that was cheap and a quality piece.( thats the reason we snapped up the Thermal). If there was a Ws at the same time, we would have had to contemplate which one would have most ground clearance, be cheaper and fit best. The apexi N1 right now is the 3" in with 4" out turbo muffler previously used on a flame shooting 600+ whp civic =/ and he has just crappy muffler shop cat-back piping that is crush bent(not that his car is a sports car), but it rattles and hits the heat shield. So either way we are looking for something smaller, quieter, and better fitting. We will let you all know how this goes. But i have a feeling, we will be all smiles and less headaches from now on.

thanks for telling my life's story for me Mark and thanks for posting my pics, i needed to do that sometime. 2.2CL i am glad to hear that it fits perfectly, because i was worried about having to modify it. Also to let you guys know the completed price ended up to be $265 w/o shipping, which i think is a pretty good deal for a Thermal.
