guys,
here is my dilema. yesterday my passneger rear tire blew out on the way home from work.i was doin about 50 or so when i felt the car shake and then "bang!!!!".there went the tire.i had the car towed back to my house(embaressing) and when i took the tire off to see what caused it,i seen that the control arm or whatever that black thing that extends out is rubbing against the tire and that caused the tread on the insde to be eating away.so my question is,does this mean i need to replace the strut or what and do the rears have struts or shocks? please pm me asap cause i need to get this fixed.thanks---imports4life

Do you have bigger rims or is the car lowered? I can't imagine a strut failing to the point that the control arm rubs the tire w/o a drop or big rims.
