Im in the 2nd gen 3.2 Family but i just got lost into the 1st Gen's for a minute. I have always wondered about that, so you guys probably have the answer. So has it been done? Do you have a link?

Cocoa has the only 6 speed 3.2 swap to my knowledge. the most common swap here is the H swap into a 2.x.

you could always just search...

Well IIRC, there isnt a 5 speed that bolts up to the J series. that means theres only the 6 speed from the j32. why do the 6 speed swap ($$$) without doing the j32 swap in the process?

So if the j32 6 speed bolts up, that means all that's left is wiring, correct?

If you could find a j32 6 speed tranny and bolt it up, can't you just do or get someone to do the wiring for minimal $$$?

well seeing as j32 6 speeds go for like a grand at least... I'm pretty sure there are some other complications... But i forget what they are... don't quote me on this crap. But i'm pretty sure the j32 6 speed will bolt on

and not to mention you have to rework everything to get the manual shifter in the, a third pedal etc. I wouldn't think that'd be too cheap.

The 6 speed fits, but you need custom mounts and most likely have to modify the firewall if I recall

the wiring is the worst of it though.

Ahh, alright. It sounded easier than it sounded. (if that makes any sense)
In case you all haven't noticed, I really want a manual..

if you just want a manual, its more logical to sell your car and buy a manual... as opposed to swapping one in to your current one cause there would be some headaches and what not.

Searching first is always key, and Cocoa has the only 6 speed 3.5 swap

Finally my camber kit is installed. Now I have to wait to get an alignment until tomorrow because its so late. And then I have to go find a frame shop.

I figured its okay to chat in here considering it is a useless thread now...
