Test drove a 5spd LEgacy GT
GOD DAMN!
It's now official there is no question I AM SELLING MY CL AND PARTING IT OUT!!!!
I will not miss it one bit. The legacy outperforms the cl in every way. Handles 10000x better.
Everything is so tight and the build quality is GREAT! It puts my friends BMW 325xi to shame for less. the gears are also extremely close together and willt ake some getting used to. i found 4th instead of 2nd a couple times. ahah the legacy gt after everything will be around 30k. I just wish it had navi already.
The sales chick took me too a nice twisty road and i got to let it rip a couple times. the electronic throttle is so responsive and the turbo kicks in like whiplash. I have never had so much fun driving a car before. its increadibly smooth and quiet for the monster thats under the hood. its just loud enough to make you smile. it doesn not feel like a 4cyl at all.
i can only imagine what a wrx sti is like. Im gonna go back and see if she'll let me take it out for the hell of it. I kinda know the owner of the dealership so hopefully i can.
the back seats are awesome. they lean back nice and far. very comfortable.
anyone even thinkin about buying a legacy SHOULD!

Ahhh, I love those cars too. I have the "new car itch" now too. 2 friends just bought some new cars-'01 I30, and a '04 Renegade Liberty. I really want a change of scenery now too.
Hows the leg/head room feel compared to the CL? and how tall are you? I could just go to the dealership myself, but I know if I sat in it, I'd probably buy it on the spot.

30k for a suby
My choice would be the new c230 supercharged, I don't see really spending that kind of money on an overhyped car. I'ts still just another subaru.

im about 5'10'-5'11". the rear leg room is smaller then the cl but the front seemed the same. head room may be more.
im getting white this time around.
i never like subaru until now. the car is awesome. it doesnt look like any other subaru out there. im sayin 30k or less after tax, title, destination, etc... im planning on getting the car for around 26.

I agree - the s4 is in a different class than the legacy. I'm not ready to run out and get one, but I must say its a good looking car - until i test drive it myself i'm just another mag-racer
