tech questions

Ok i've read the post about the CL-type S tranny but that seems more of a pain that anything i recently saw a stock v6 accord i believe 02 or older with a manual transmission could this and would this be able to bolt in no prob into are cars the layout i would think would be identical.

Second question Who here has done the cam intake and throttle body swap and are there any issues to installing it or is it almost a direct bolt in

if i'm not mistaken the 98-02 accords can use our tranny (dont know why they would want to) but we can't use theirs.

if your talkin about the type s intake, no.. they wont work. the heads on the 3.2 are bigger. and the throttle body will work but it has to be modified. the cams will work but them too will have to be modified, (rear cam has to be grinded for the distributor our cars have a distributor and the type is doesent.)

the type s 6 speed will work but you have to know what your doin to install it. the auto will not work cause its a 5 speed and our ecu's are only set up for a 4 speed auto. you cant swap ecu's cause like i said before the type-s is a distributor less ignition.

seems like the auto tranny on the v6 98-02 accords are better than the 3.0 cl trannys....havent heard of many tranny problems...kinda weird IMO...cuz you said they are the same tranny...

I've driven a 2002 accord v6, it didnt seem as fast as ours. I know its the same engine and whatever it just didnt seem to have the acceleration that I've got now.

Shifting smoothly and slow shouldn't be confused.

the heads will bold on but the valves are too big, and will hit the pistons. so no its not possible

i guess the 6 speed from the accords will fit.. but you'd still have to trick the ecu, and convert all the shit.. like pedals, master cylinder, shifter, etc.. very expensive.. prolly as much as a dr evil tranny drop in would be..
