well i got a carputer so I plan on fiberglassing the lcd monitor very similar to elserpien did! And if all goes well I'm going to fiberglass something for my amp and carputer in the trunk! I've never done it before but i found an amazing step by step tutorial online which should help me a lot. Also elserpien said it wasn't hard at all and he had no previous experience and I hope you have seen his lcd monitor install.. it is amazing!

depends on size of the subs, how many you have, and how you want them located. I did my boys integra for about 300 total parts cost.

psssh ur crazy, wood is the best material (Medium density fiberboard) and its cheap. Ure better off buying a premade box or learning how at a woodworking shop.

for real this is a good link, MODS can we get a compilation of these type links in the DIY area? It is rather sparse at the moment, and we have tons of good stuff floating around that is hard to find sometimes.

um that fiberglass container was $12 I believe and you can get one 4 times the size for $33. I don't have any idea on how much it will take me to do what I need, but the smaller one SHOULD be plenty for me. The mat on the left was like $5-6 and is 3ftX3ft, so I think I may need a little more. You also need:

1) gloves which are like 2-3 dollars for a box
2) a paintbrush to brush it on $5-8
3) sandpaper (I bought blocks) you need 80 grit for initial and 180 grit for the end) I paid $7 for both i believe
4) You also need masks specifically for fiberglass. I didn't buy the $30 respirator like the guy recommended because i'm cheap and i'm not doing a box for my sub like he was doing (yet ) anyways these were like $5 also

I already had a measuring cup that I don't mind disposing of, but I think they run around $5. I might try to get something done tonight, but I am not sure yet. I have plenty of other things I need to do before I even start to fiberglass, but I will keep updating

Fiberglass to do yourself is cheap. To pay somebody is about $50-$75 per hour and anybody who has done fiberglass before knows the time involved is costly. The back seat mold I made woulda costed any shop about 8k to do....costed me $500 in material and alot of time.

The bodykit im not even making it from another, its all made from chickenwire and time to shape it.
