Suspension Question?

i'm tryin to learn about suspension here...i'm goin to get KYB AGX shocks, with either sportlines or h&r springs, and also ingall camber kit...now when the kyb's say that there adjustable does that mean that they can act sort of as coilover's?...so wat i mean is that if i drop the car 2" and need to raise it back to stock height can i do that or not?...
so wat would the adjustable mean if that's not wat it does?

the adjustable part of the KYB AGX's is the dampening of the shock, not the height

so you can have either a stiffer ride with better handling or a smoother ride for comfort or somewhere in between

they adjust 1 (softest) to 4 (hardest) on the front and 1-8 on the back...the only shocks that adjust height are the koni yellows, where you can set them on the lower perch

i see, i thought it was height...so if i were to get springs that adjust 1.5" or even 2.5" it wouldn't matter on the shocks b/c they would jsut do the same for both springs...

Well, it wouldn't matter but according to KYB's website "The warranty is void if the product is used on excessively lowered (over 1.5") vehicles or in an aftermarket coilover suspension system."
