suspension problems

I posted a message a little while back (WHAT DID I DO). In that post I asked for help diagnosing my problem. I did take the car to the dealer and they said that it was the front struts (both left and right) so they replaced them. I will admit that the car does hold the road better, but, there is still something wrong. It still seems like any time I hit a bump or any imperfection in the road the wheels do what they want (the steering wheel moves on it own). The dealer said the only thing wrong was the struts. I need help, we don't have another Acura dealer in the El Paso area, the closest dealer is hours away.

HELP!!

It might be your brakes.....when my brakes were fucked up........my wheel pulled to the right when I hit the brakes at low speeds.it would also pull going over bumps.

I forgot, I also replace the right rim because it was slightly bent. I noticed a little difference (or maybe I just thought I did). Anyway I don't know if this makes any difference.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it might be the breaks too, but it happens even when I do not apply the breaks (i.e. hitting bumps when going up hills).

------- Well the most obvious would be that your alignment
may be out of adjustment after they replaced your struts.
------Take it to anywhere that has the proper equipment to check the alignment first.

Yeah, certain alignment settings will make your car pull from side to side like that.

And CL's have shocks, not struts.

Questions:

Do you have stock or aftermarket rims?
some aftermarket rims, such as mine, with lug centering (10 or 8 lug holes) need to have spacers to adjust vibrating etc....(kinda like weights w/ high speed balancing).

Is this your first front wheel drive car?
sounds stupid but it makes a difference in driving habits and feel!

Have you checked: Tire pressure, shocks & Springs, Sways? What about boot and joints?

just some suggestions to think about!

I had either a tie rod end or something near my steering box that did something similar to that in a different car.

???

Almost sounds like a toe out situation in the alignment.

I've had tires with broken belts make my car pull, you could rotate the tires and see if that helps.
