I am planning on putting Eibach Pro kit springs on my car but tire rack is recommending a camber kit. Is this necessary ? I will be using my stock shocks for a while. How bad of an idea is that. I only have 30k miles on them. From what I hear with such a subtle drop, it should not be a big deal at all. Post pics of car with pro kit drop. Thanks

I have the H&R sport springs that drop about 1.8 inches on the stock shocks with no camber kit. The ride is just fine and tire wear seems to be normal.

I've had pro-kits on mine for about a year. I never put in a camber kit.

Most of the people I know who have Eibach prokits (including myself) didn't get camber kits. However, to be safe, get an alignment two weeks after you've put in the springs (so the springs have most likely settled) and check whether you'll need camber kits.

No camber kit needed. I have pro-kit from Eibach for over 4 years. The pro-kit is recommended for folks with stock struts. I have my stock ones also, the car was new when I put on the springs and wanted to put some mileage on first. No alignment problems ever.

I lowered my car yesterday ( ) with the pro-kit and had it aligned today (I couldn't wait; my wheels were so out of alignment that when I'd brake, it felt like the ABS was kicking in, there was so much shakiness)... anyway, so the place I aligned it at gave me a little printout of my alignment... and it says that my front left wheel has -.30 degree camber, front right= -.40, and both back wheels are -1.10... the guy at the shop was trying to tell me that that means I need a camber kit, but my friend said it isn't bad enough to worry about it, especially since there isn't much difference between the wheels on each side, so I won't be feeling pull... so who is right?

An ode to the Mr. T Experience... maybe the best lyricists out there... For the next few days, I'll showcase a clever line from some of my favorite Mr. T Experience songs.

Today's quote is from the Lawnmower of Love.

“We're just lame enough. We're just the same enough. We're just standing in front of the lawnmower of love. We're just sad enough. We just haven't had enough. We're just gonna get cut up by the lawnmower of love.”

Is the drop low enough that it closes up that wheel gap? Is the ride still close to stock? Feed back please. Pictures would help

I have a 2.25" drop and my camber sucks but it is the price you pay for the REAL lowered look, I'm fortunate to have a company vehicle that I drive daily, the CL only comes out on weekends. I"ve had eibach sportlines on a honda accord before and never had a camber kit and it seemed to be very little wear, I geuss it all depends on how much you drive and how much you want to spend on tires. I have nitto 215/35's and they are soft and wear fast, but look damn good!

It has settled a lil since then... I'm not totally happy with the drop I; I wish it were about a half inch more, but oh, well.

Um. Of course you should go! It's awesome. It's a rave type atmosphere, they have different rooms with different music like trance, jungle, drum & bass. I guess it depends on if your into that scene or not really. Only thing that sucks is that it's in South East and I would'nt dare take my car there heh. Otherwise it's awesome, three floors, awesome DJs. Oh yea, and drugs galore hah

Not much for clubs here in Manassas just alotta Bars with tiny dance floors.
