Hey everyone, sorry to ask such a dumb question, but whats the difference between coilovers and just regular springs? i know that the coilovers are adjustable, but why do so many ppl seem to hate them? do you still need to get new shocks if you were to get coilovers? thanks

picture this springs are just the springs they go over new or existing struts (shocks). Sleeve coilovers are cheap and they are just springs with a threaded sleeve on them so you can compress or decompress the spring to change ride height. These also go over new or existing struts. Full coilovers are self contained adjustable springs AND struts!! The struts are custom matched to the spring rates and usually have adjustable height and dampening. These are the ultimate. Full coilovers for teins or jic's run anywhere from 999 for the tein ss to 1700 for JIC majics. Hope this helped.
