Stupid Little Trick.

I know that people can easily hard wire their radar detectors into their cars, but for those who dont want to do that here is a suggestion. I have a 98 3.0 so i dont know if the dash layout is the same so here goes. Just take the ashtray out of the center console right below the radio. There is going to be a little grey connector in their, right below that will be enough room to snake the wire through. Catch it on the left side of the console at the bottom, run the wire under the dash and up the driver side door. There is a little slot in to door jamb that fits the wire perfect (at least mine fit.) the run it up on the bottom driver side of the dash. You are all set now. I know its easy, but it cleaned up my interior about 67.45%!!!

I ran from the fuse box and used the radio fuse. Used a ground screw right above th brake pedal, works great. Closer than running all the from the ash tray. Why did you waste your time running all the extra wire from the ash tray, or did you not know you could pick up power from the fuses?
