i was gonna take it to have the windows tinted today too, looks like ill be stopping by the body shop first, oh well thats what insurance is for.

maybe one positive thing is i can tell the body shop i think the window regulator got damaged cause my window moves a lot slower than it did, and get a new one free

 

Do it, that sux man, sorry bout the whip that baby was clean, but that's what body shops are for they'll fix ya up. Def get a window regulator and as much out of it as u can

aww.....sucks. I hate that feeling, when you are going to get something installed on your car...them BAM! someone has to F*** it up!...lol

 

so i took it to a body shop today to get an estimate.. $1763.98

 

Sad about the bad luck bro... Hope you get it fixed right. What about the idiot? Any chance it was somebody who parks around you often, or was it at a mall or something public? Maybe you will see them lurking trying not to be seen over the next day or so... you might even call body shops and ask if they have seen any vehicles with similar damage in the last day or so. Never hurts to make someone else's insurance pay... especially when it was their fault. Fucking don't give the bastards a free pass if you can help it. You might even file a police report just to make it official.

 

that sucks. did they get the fender or just the door? can't really tell from the pic.

 

luckily they barely missed the fender, but it still has to be painted to color match the door, thats what the body shop said. it happened in a parking lot, 100% his fault. since it was in a parking lot, the police said they wouldnt come becasue it happened on private property.

heres what happened: (ill try to explain it so you can picture it well, birds eye view)
I was heading north, and there were 3 other cars were heading south going the other direction, once the 3rd one passed me, this guy came from the west to head north, failed to check if my lane was clear, and drove right into me, and tried to blame me saying i came out of nowhere, complete bullshit.

oh yeah, since the police refused to come, it was up to us to decide who was at fault, and it was clearly him. but he keeps saying it was my fault, and if police came it would be clearly obvious to them that it was his fault. this guy just doesnt want an at fault accident on his insurance, he said he might rather pay for my damages out of pocket and not involve insurance at all, but once he sees that estimate, he's screwed, and it'll have to be done through insurance.

 

how come people are unable to drive without running into other cars these days? Tuesday was a bad day for me and other people. First I'm SITTING IN MY CAR in the parking lot at school and some girl in an 06 civicpulls up and proceeds to throw her door directly into the side of my car. Dents and chips the paint on the side molding. Then leaving school I about get sideswiped by a Chevy pickup. Good thing I was paying attention cause he sure as hell wasn't.
