guys, i've got the kyb agx setup with nuespeed sportsprings.....my left rear strut is blown.....i bought em used....what do i do? i needa fix this before the end of the week(planning a road trip)! HELP GUYS!

 

Only one way to fix it if its blown.

Replace it.

 

They are suppose to have a lifetime warranty for the original owner. Also the warranty is voided if your car is dropped more than 1.5 inches. Maybe you can somehow get them to replace it for free. I would give KYB a call and see what they can do.

 

How you know that ur strut is blow? Too much play?

 

no bounce back and the car sits an inch lower on that corner....

 

My KYB's have been noisy lately, and have been annoying me. I dont know if its maybe the fact that i have had my windows down and can actually hear them now, or that they are blown. It sounds like they are groaning/ squeaking when i hit a decent size bump. Anyone know anything about this? I havent noticed any loss in ride quality though.

that's why i didn't get KYB, they're not supposed to be dropped lower than 1.5, and i was dropped about 2.75. get it replaced, or better yet, get some Koni Yellows.

 

What Accord model would you order coilspings for if you have 98 3.0?

The neuspeend sports are like a 2" + drop. That makes the warranty for the KYB's voided.
