Hey all,


Lately i've been noticing a definite metal on metal "scraping" noise coming from the left front engine compartment. It usually happens when i'm slowing down in 2-3rd gear right around 2-2.5k, lately i've been noticing its been escalating to a continuous noise if i'm driving around at like 30-35MPH, just not as loud as if I were coming to a stop sign...As soon as I put my foot on the clutch it goes away though...Any ideas?

 

Could be the brake pads are loose, or torn cv boot on the axle those make the most sense

 

Thanks i'll check for that, I recently had new rotors and pads put on like a month ago, and the noises started before that, now that I think of It, I think they put a new CV joint in less than a year ago, under warranty.
