Sticky accelarator when cold

Sticky accelarator when cold

My accelerator pedal kinda sticks a bit when it is cold out. After I push into it hard once, it works great. Anyone know how to stop this from happeneing... All answers welcome

check your cable under the hood and see if there are binding up anywhere, or have someone in the car when this happens and watch under the hood at the throttle cable to notice anything wrong or fishy

not to sound like a dick, but lube the throttle linkage and cables. use a grease not wd-40. white lithium or something similar.

that used to happen in my 89 mercury....maybe the pedal is rusted/old....maybe you should take a look at the pedal....but take a look at the throttle under the hood as well
