steering wheel radio controls

Since I switched to the CL-S wood grain steering wheel I now have the audio controls on the steering wheel in my 97 CL. My head unit will allow you to use the steering wheel controls with an adapter from PAC but since my car is a 97 I do not have the plug that snaps into the controls (right now its just there for looks so there isn't a big missing space on the wheel). My question is, does anyone know where I can order this plug because it is needed to hook to the PAC adapter. You just wire the controls to the PAC adapter and then plug it into the rear of the after market radio and it will control it like it would a OEM radio. Anyhow if anyone knows the part number or somewhere I can get this plug please let me know because i have searched on acuraoemparts and can't find that plug

Wait, you can get an adapter for that? My controls don't work cause I have an aftermarket head unit. So I need a PAC adapter?

Its according to the head unit, mine does allow you to use the steering wheel controls with the PAC SWI-JACK. I am not sure what head unit you have but allot of them do allow you to do this.

Chris, I am sending you a PM now

Yep. My dad used to work as a pro installer so he installed everything in my car. GPS antenna, head unit, backup cam, and the steering wheel control adapter. Even though I need something that sits behind the steering wheel to get them to work right again
