steering wheel controls with aftermarket decks

has anyon tried this? says it works with all models of honda and acura, is it worth the 70 bucks?

There is a way to do it without that, however you have to have some electrical knowledge and know how to solder. Otherwise thats a quick and easy solution. Remember if it exists someone has copied it and it may be cheaper. For $40 I would but $70 is a little steep.

i looked into it and many installers said it is a pain to get it to work because you have to program it to the right frequency and to find it you have to try a bunch of combos with resistors or some thing, wasn't worth it to me.

I have one and tried installing it but gave up after about an hour of trying to figure it out. I have some electrical background but I didnt have the time to figure it out yet.

thanks from the sound of it i think i'll just hold off on this one, maybe until another one comes out that's a easier install
