stage 2 clutch

i'd eventually like to get a stage 2 clutch put in my car when my factory one dies...i was just wondering what kind of differences i'll notice in the stage 2 over the stock one..and if it is even worth the $$.. thanks

i have one, but i got the lightened flywheel with it. it was a good increase, the stage 2 holds alot more of the torque than the stock one

is it a puck disk (4 or 6) or a full face disk? Also do you have low rpm chatter? I have a 6 puck on the way and is just asking!

i got a 6 puck with a spring hub.... initially it is quite a bit of chatter, until you get used to the additional grippage of the clutch, now however i rarely have it chatter. also, if you are getting a performance clutch, you should get a lightwieght flywheel, because the instal on both will be relatively cheap.

to my knowledge ( which is pretty small ) a lightweight flywheel spins with a little less strain on your crankshaft, therefore giving your crankshaft and motor a little better performance and life length. The stage 2 clutch is desgined to give you more gripping power for those of us who get our jollies from HP. Other than that i'm a mechanical newb and probably couldnt explain it any further.

also, a stock clutch will wear out a bit faster if you have added performance mods to your car, so it would be beneficial to have one for practicality and for jollies
