Mine has been on for a while. My passenger airbag has "increased resistance" whatever that means. Im not gonna shell out 600 for a new one either

Happened to me about a year ago and they just reset the SRS. It was about $30 because they had to make sure nothing was wrong with the airbag. Have it checked out. It was inexpensive for me.

my shit came on last summer.....I took it in Acura cleared it...then 2 weeks later it came on again and they had to replace the whole drivers side air bag................I'd take it in cuz you don't wanna get in a wreck and have the air bag malfunction. The replacement is free.

i went to the acura dealer today and they asked for $120 just to get it CHECKED. that price is quoted not including the labor and repairing costs yet. so how much would it REALLY cost? i know i can't get it repaired it for free, because my car ran out of warranty at 62,000 miles, so there's no more warranty on it. i am definitely NOT shelling out a couple hundred bucks for this either. u guys know if any place other than the dealership does it for cheap? or can i do this myself?

Did you recently do any engine mods???? That could have triggered it.

Here was my situation............I bought my CL from a Honda dealer 45 miles from my house............I bought the extended warranty from the Honda dealer, BUT anytime I had a problem (check engine light,SRS light) I'd take it to the Acura dealers by my house (theres 2 of them) everytime I take it in without any questions they'd say oh it's under warranty Well take care of it. I'm always like ok cool...now I dont have to drive 45 miles to get my shit fixed. And I've never told any of the Acura Dealers i have an extended warranty.......i think some parts are cover for over 100,000 miles try calling another Acura Dealer.

Jumper out the service wire connector (got pics on my site).

The SRS light will flash letting you know what the problem. I posted the codes on my site as well.

It takes some time, but its free and gives you an idea where to start.

It should flash long and short. If its 3 long and one short, thats the right front pulser. The ABS codes are at the bottom of my resources page.

Dont know how the sensor would go bad but heard of people getting hit and having the light go off.
