Well, my lil bro moved my car for me in the morning, but left the lights on. It killed my battery (thought Optimum was the best battery). Well when I jumped started it, it kept my SRS light on. It wont go away and now that means my air bags wont work, right? Well I tried resetting the ECU but that didnt work. Anyone know how to fix this without taking it to the dealership? I attempted to do something I read off the internet, but I guess i just did it wrong.

 

dealer!!! there was a thread here on how to reset it go to search if it works. the dealer charges 89.00 to diagnose!!! and another 69.00 to reset. umm can i say rip off

 

a little while ago. same thing happened to me. batt died...srs came on...

did a search...on acura-cl.com

"srs" and a thread came up how to resolve the issue.

but i just did a search and nothing at all came up.

 

search function is still down

yea mines on ... wont go off either same deal with the battery too mine went dead now light wont turn off

 

damn what would happen if we crasheed?? do u think it would still go off/?
