Speakers ????
I'm looking for new 6x9's and 6.5 inch (rear and front speakers). I would like to hook them up to a small amp for best sound. I've narrowed the speakers down to:
Pioneer 6-1/2" 4-Way 220 wt Model: TS-A1680R (100$) &
Pioneer 6" x 9" 4-Way 350 wt Model: TS-A6980R (130$)
or
Rf Fosgate 6" x 9" 3-Way 150 wt Model: FRC 3369A (120$) &
Rf Fosgate - 6-1/2" 3-Way 100 wt Model:FRC4306 (100$)
all are priced from bestbuy, but i'll look on ebay and other places. The Pioneers look WAY better seeing as they are 4way and more wts and are around the same price as the rf. just wanted some input on these two before I buy them. I'm going with the Pioneers unless you guys recomend differently.
Also what type of amp would I need to run the two fronts and two backs? i want kick but i don't want to blow them. would a cheap little dual 340W bridgeable 2-Channel amp (70$) work? would i need two, one for the front and one for the backs?

Why those speakers? There are many better choices. As far as the amp, something like the cheap Alpine 4ch would be great. You could use a 2ch, but you won't have any control over the front vs. rear level. Also you'll need to do some custom fit work on the fronts to get 6.5s to fit, as they are 5.25" stock.
I've got some stuff to sell that'll work, PM me if you're interested.

could someone please explain what a 4 channel 2 bridged amp is? i'm a little confused with all this amp jargon. i just want to boost my front and rear speakers. also how many amps should it push? is 400 too much if it gets turned up all the way? i have the factory head unit. thanks!
