Which spark plugs and wires?

Which spark plugs should I get for the 1998 2.3 Cl? Does it make a difference? Which wires are good also and are they worth replacing after 60,000 miles?

for more mods i would suggest the Denso's
but you'll be fine with bosch platinum +4's. not to mention that your wallet will like you more also.

I've got magneocr wires and bosch +4 platinums. Love 'em.

Messing around with denso's (non-iridium) now. Trying to see how big of a spark plug gap I can run with my Accel.

Cheapo copper plugs conduct better than platinum ones but don't last nearly as long. Plus they're much cheaper... I bought all 4 NGK coppers for about 12 bucks. So if you can deal with replacing your plugs every 15k mi (which is really easy on an I4), that's the way to go! If you're lazy, get platinum. If you have a lot of extra money to burn, get iridiums.

I'd put the $100 for the plugs toward pulleys instead.

If I had a car running a lot of boost with upgraded ignition and everything else, I'd spring for the iridiums when my current plugs were worn out to get that extra 2 hp, but on a NA car with just bolt ons, the gain would probably be more like 0.02hp compared to new copper plugs.
