I just put Accel on my 99 3.0CL. They look good and perform well. I think I feel a differance but that could be wishfull thinking on my part. A mechanic said this was a weak point on the 3.0 and I wanted red wires so.......I purchased from a local speed shop I am trying to get a relationship going with for future mods. They said it would take 3 weeks to get them but they came in, in a week. About $70 on line.. I paid $83 total with tax no shipping.

The magnacores are good, that's what I have. They're about $150 at optauto.com. They may be more expensive but they're high quality and 8.5mm thick.

what about magnacores? hwo do they improve performance wise? and what are the benefits of having new wires from the old ones that came with teh car?

The new wires have less resistance and therefore deliver more spark for a better fuel burn - in theory. My Accel's are also 8.5mm but they do not have the capacitors built in wich in theory provides even more spark. I think you will see more of an advantage with these on a more highly modified engine than I have. Like with Adam3.0 and his NO2.
