could be your license plate rattling. i have also heard of instances that the spoiler to trunk mounting can rattle as well.. but with dynamat i would assume that enough of the vibrations would be absorbed so that it wont make the spoiler rattle.

check the license plate and the plastic housing that surrounds it.

Empty it out. It might be the spare tire or something.

Tried that and then tightened the spare and placed dynamat surrounding the spare, if i stand next to the car by the back when the stereo is on it sounds like a loud rattle, not to mention thought hat the rattling was cut by more then half when i dunamatted the drunk lid and the trunk floor. All i want to know if it is possible if the shelf would be causing it and if so should i just put dynamat on the bottom of the shelf?

I put rammat on the rear deck, along with some polyfill and it stopped the rattle from there...

A lot of the rattling comes from the speaker covers, you might be able to make new ones, or just remove them if you don't care.
