Someone needs to enlighten me on our climate control system
So I choose manually the degrees I want, the fan speed and where I want the air to blow then turn AC off.
After a while, I think when the temperature reaches the set degree that shows in the display, the vent starts blowing WARM air. WTF. I've chosen manual, not AUTO. Why does it still try to act as automatic and tries to stay at the degree set in the car? All I want it is to blow fresh air from outside non stop and not to try to calibrate unless I press the AUTO button.
I really don't get that. I'm gonna pass by the dealership and ask them that.

So when u turn off the AC it blows warm air? Isn't that what will happen if u do that anyway? 63 degrees can't really be done w/out the ac bein on. unless ur in the winter time. If u want it to stay at a certain temp, u should leave it on auto

I believe this is how the AC system works: When the thermostat senses that the temperature is at what you want it to be, it will turn off the AC unit and regular unconditioned air will be taken into the system. When it senses the temperature is higher than it should be, it will kick the AC back on and you will feel the cool air.
The air that comes out has never felt to me that it is conditioned to the temperature you set on the display; it feels more like the temp on the display is the overall ambient temperature of the cabin. You should be able to get a more constant temperature if you set the air to recirculate.
So what is AUTO for then? Honestly, i ahve no clue. I guess it adjusts fan speed? Perhaps it takes into account the outside temperature as well?
I'm only speculating here, but does anyone have concrete knowledge of how the system works?

The fan (and recirc feature) will work to get the temp to where you set it ASAP. Setting the temp lower than u want it in summer wont cool the car down any faster (according to the OM).

yep, i'm referring to when its set to auto. You need to have auto selected to have control over the temp, fan speed automatically adjusts to reach the temp when auto is selected (when the green light is on next to auto). unless you need to hit the defrost button on a cold morning, just leave it on auto all the time.
