I searched a little, but didnt find all the answers..

I'm gonna upgrade the exhaust on my 3.0 soon, and I know I'll have to have the piping done custom at a muffler shop, about how much does that cost? also, what size piping should I get, stock size or a bit bigger (like 1/4 inch bigger)? and should I keep the resonator or just have the custom piping straight to the muffler?

whoevers had this done, I'm curious how it sounds and what everyones setups are, thanks guys

 

search. theres been PLENTY of threads on this topic. If you dont want to get a full system, id reccomend a magnaflow muffler, 2.5" pipping and an 18" resonator. Check out my thread here I made with vid clips on of exhaust

Hey I have a 3.0 and my muffler is falling apart, so I'm figuring it's about time to do a catback. I got quoted from a place here in Dover a Magnaflow 14816, 2.5", with a 22" resonator for $415; or all stainless (w/lifetime warranty) for an extra $100. From what I've read in the different forums that seems like a good setup for the 3.0. Lemme know if you have found/heard anything...

 

is it true that a 96-97 accord v6 cat back exhaust will fit with minor customization? or is it just better to custom pipe it all?

 

Thats not bad, But i would check ebay for that model #. You can also get the resonator off ebay. Just take that to your muffler guy and have them put it on.

Piping shouldnt cost more than 200 bucks...more like 1 something.
