iam about to race this 04 rsx....i dont have any mods except for a V2 intake...what are my chances of winning?

hah yea u will win, i just ran one not to long ago. but i think he had some weight in the back of his plus he had a paasanger, and i'm completely stock.

 

should beat him. not really sure though since it's not a type s. a type s would definatly win. but only one way to find out

 

At the track I've seen a few regular RSX's break into the 15's, but they typically run mid-low 16's... even with bolt-ons.

 

Type S would kill us 3.0's im sorry... 210HP and us 3.0 have a heavy load(with all the luxury we have)

 

but dont go and try to beat a train

 

you'll kick his ass for sure.... rsx pulls 160 hp compaired to a 3.0 200hp

we might have a chance with the 04 and below if we gutted out everything with CF hood and trunk 04's type s pulls 200 hp

05's pull 210 hp... just protecting my ass

 

i dont see the point in "gutting" your cl just to "beat" an rsx..

anyway i walked a base RSX auto. he had lambo doors, a kit, and a big ass fart cannon. easiest 50 i ever made. and i drive a 2.2 so you should be more than ok.

 

damn i want fartcan rsx's to race me for $50, with that $ id go get an ebay pos intake and laugh @ him.

 

What mods did you have?

Intake/Headers/Exhaust, and maybe pullies?

I've been wanting some more power and have been thinking about headers. Do they make a huge difference?
