let me do a quick update, insurance wants to bring the car to storage after they determine it's condition (totaled or not totaled)

i'm going to be pulling out my audio before they bring the vehicle to storage

pending the decision of totaled or not totaled, or keeping the vehicle i will have the following things for sale

DOOR SILL - RH only (LH smashed)

WW Type R Lip - bought it from YBLEGAL a LONG time ago and never installed, he had it painted black with scuffs on the bottom, you might even be able to find the thread he had selling it to me

OEM FOGS - they were from my 99, but i think they mount and install the same on the 97's, just that you need a different switch (used)

Valeo ECE (Euro) Projector Headlight Conversion w/ metallic black housings (not flat black) - to let go of these I need to swap out for someone else's headlights, or if you can find a cheap pair at a junkyard that are still somewhat functional but toe'd up, that'll work too

HID KIT (Hella Gen3 Ballasts with Phillips Bulbs) (used) - I'm not sure if I'm going to sell these with the headlights if (klepto - first in line) wants them, or I'm going to transition this kit to the next vehicle

9006 HID wire harness with all necessary fuses and such (paid 50 for them to be custom made) - depending on the outcome of the headlight sale and the hid kit sale, this harness will have to go if the next vehicle isn't a 9006 bulb size or doesn't have std hid

CLEAR CORNERS - selling these as is, I still have my oranges lyin around so no need for a swap

INTERIOR HEATED SEAT SWITCHES - depending on what insurance says, I'm sure I can get away with ripping these off and taking them

okay, it looks they quoted me 9999.5+50 (if i give em the OEM deck) for my car

I can either take that price, OR get the car back and get the difference to the cost of the salvaged car

anyone have any opinions? anyone know the price of a salvaged vehicle?

when i totaled my teg i bought it back from insurance for $500 don't know about your ins co. i say if it cheap to buy back do it and strip/sell what you can.just weight out how much everything is worth compared to what you have to pay to buy back.

stripped off everything i could from the car

OEM fog lights are for sale (i just remembered i forgot to remove the foglight switch) with piaa h3 ion yellow bulbs

acura cl side sills, i just removed the entire sill that clips into the body, so both sides are for sale

aem cold air intake (polished silver) for 3.0 is for sale

black housing projector ece headlights are for sale (no need to trade out for oem ones since i just stripped them off the car)

clear corners (i've got ion yellows in there for the blinkers and the driving lights)

ww lip is still for sale

and then i've got all the audio equipment
