So I have a pretty big noob question

haha. Well anyways. My maintenance required light turned from orange to red today. So I checked my oil and my tranny fluid. So I notice there are 3 holes in the dipstick. Two towards the bottom and one way towards the top. Any other car has a full line from what I know, so I guess my question is where should the levels be to know there is enough. My tranny fluid is below the first dot, which im pretty sure isnt good. The oil level is around 2 inches above the second hole. And what other reasons could the maintenance required light (its actually not a light haha) be red, overnight.

The top ones are full lines, and the maintenance light is just a timer based on x amount of miles, you can reset them, it's more of a reminder than a real indicator. Def sounds like you're low on fluid though

haha nice pic. So the very top hole, the third one by the top? Cuz if so I need some fluid badly, especially tranny fluid!

Yah the little light in that square box that turned red is definately from your mileage. If you wanna change it back to green then just stick you key in that slot next to the light.
