try using 50/50 mix amonia and water on your window. it will cut thru the glue pretty quick, but make sure you do it outside and have your windows open. and cover your speaker grills with plastic.

How did you remove the old tint? Does the rear defroster still work? Just curious as I want to remove my tint for something darker.

Thanks

Thanks Madvillain,

I was was wondering how to remove the old tint. Razor blade? Does the rear defroster still work? I have heard that removing tint from the rear window may cause problems with the defroster. Just curious as I want to remove my tint for something darker.

Thanks

i used my nails and any other flat pointy object to remove the tint. took a dayam while, even with the help from the air bubbles. and yea, the defroster thingy still works, wasn't hurt at all when i removed it. actually, i was hella oblivious to the lines when i did and had no idea there was potential in damagin them, so i was ripping and tearing away . .haha . . no harm done to the dot matrix too.
