Skid protector

How many of you have this piece? it hangs under the front bumper. From the side it looks stupid. Is there anyway of removing it. When I finally lower the car, i can see that catching on everything. What does everyone with theirs lowered do? Is there an easy way to remove it or what?

Thanks!

i believe its just bolted on last time i checked, you could just unbolt it and remove it. either way it shouldn't be too hard to remove. I just checked under mine and its definitely gone lol. looked like there were about 5 bolt spots that bolted it in. give it a look-see

He's talking about the windguard

And yes you will scrape it, but I'd rather scrape that plastic than crack my rad again. If you're really worried about it, just cut that piece off the bottom. DO NOT remove that whole piece, it's a protective piece under your engine bay and acts like a big splash guard.

Not to mention, if you're only slightly dropping your car and not going to the floor like i was, then don't worry about it, you'll probably scrape your mudguards first they hang lower

They are 2 seperate pieces, after removing my bumper, I had to unbolt this piece to get to the radiator easier. However if the windguard piece bothers you, just get a dremel cutting wheel and cut that line off. I would not recommend removing the whole piece, cuz like I said it's like a plastic skid plate/splash protector. And covers most of the bottom of the engine bay.
