Silverstar SUCKS!

Silverstar SUCKS!
I Bought a pair of 9006ST's (Silverstar) for my '98 CL and they SUCK. I bought them from AutoZone on Sept 6, 2002 and by Dec 12th one had burnt out - followed by the second a week later! I only found out about the first one by getting a ticket (my fogs picked up the slack).
Anyways, Sylvania sent me a free pair b ack in December. I noticed last week that both of my headlights were out again - my second pair burnt out! I called Sylvania and without me saying anything they just asked an address to send me a check for the cost of the bulbs. I've put my stock bulbs back in, it ain't worth the trouble.
4 bulbs in nine months is a bit much.

the Nokya is the best looking lights for the price...i haven't heard anything bad about nokya yet....one of my Nokya burnt out last month but i'm very happy with it. Its been working hard for over a year and a half. White with a slight tint of blue, look very sweet.

i noticed that when i had my nokyas (burnt through 3 sets in about 1.5 years) the light was tinted quite blueish, that is, until one of them burnt out and fried the headlight housing. after that, the light was just a bright white. then the other bulb did the same thing, and both of them were just white, no matter what bulbs i used. i think out of all the lights i had used, the raybrigs were my favorites, although a tad pricey. i woulda gotten them again if they made a 9007 bulb.

I didn't touch the bulbs. None of the four bulbs ever had a bubble or shattered. Every time the filament inside just burned up. I sent them back the bulbs for my refund - I'd think if it were something as obvious and a huge bubble from me touching it they wouldn't have refunded the money.
Sylvania blamed it on my driving habits... I usually have to drive to the other end of ohio about 500 miles round trip in the dark every week, but wtf my stock bulbs have been doing that for years. Sylvania says they have only a years life under average driving conditions in the FAQ on their website - it should say that shit on the packaging - I would have never bought them.
