correct me if i'm wrong. But The Needles dont light up right? so that means that at night will u be able to see the needles? I'm not sure if i remember what i'm talking about i just remember seeing sometinhg on the boards about how u can't see the needles with the reverse indiglos. If you can see the needles than i'd go for the silver. But if you can't i'd go for the Whites.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the thing with the needles is that 97 CLs have white needles that don't light up. So if your background is white and your needles is white they may be hard to see.

but think about it this way. Our guages stock, only the numbers light up. The whole face doesn't light up. So the only way to see the needles is if the needles light up because what else is there to light up the needles? when only the numbers are lighting up. Get what i'm saying? So that means that on the stock guages the back ground is dark at night, and those reverse guages the background is dark as well. so theoretically at night u should be fine. But DCSQuirm is right; if our needles are white by day and the acutall faces are silver/white by day how do u see the needles durring the day????? ~ Anyone can shine some light on this situation?

I get what your saying 97acuracl. So at night it shouldn't be a problem to see the needles.
All I got to say is good thing I have a '98 with orange needles that light up.
MaCe good luck with your gauges selection hopefully what everone has said has shed some light on the topic.

There are 2 bulbs above the gauges that shine down and light up the front of the cluster.
