Hey guys, its been a while. My 2.2cl currently has 181,xxx miles on it and has started acting up. I got an EGR insufficient flow CEL the other day, but my main issue is shuddering under acceleration.

The shuddering starts around 50 mph in 4th gear and gets pretty bad as long as im in fourth, and continues in 5th but becomes less noticeable at highway cruising speeds. Strange thing is it wont really shake in 3rd gear, even up to around 60 mph, but as soon as i hit 4th it gets bad.

Ive narrowed down to being most likely either bad motor mounts or bad axles. I just looked at my axles... No play in either axle nor the halfshaft, all boots looked to be in good condition. When I changed my clutch around 130,000 miles, the mounts looked a little rough but I dont know how to tell for sure.

This has been going on for several thousand miles and its pissing me off. Getting onto the highway sucks. I would appreciate any advice.
