Should I?

Since my car is black, and has the red pinstrip, should I paint the Acura emblems red, or make 'em black?

pinstripes are for old cars. sorry, but i just dont like pinstripes at all. id take it off personally, then take it from there. besides, i cant see black and red as a decent color scheme for our cars.

I can see black and red as a good color scheme, but i feel as if the pinstripe takes away from the full image of the lines of the car by putting an accent on just 1 line of the car. I'd say remove the pinstripe.

Blakc and red rims and emblems might be OK. Not a fan of the pinstripes but you could make it run with the car

Ill end up blacking out the whole car I guess, except for some red or green on some interior things. What do you think? Get rid of pinstrip for sure, but then what other color should I go with for a 2-color scheme?

black is pretty easy to work with. just pick a color you like, and you can pretty much just accent everything with that color. id do something nobodys done yet, but then again thats just me.

its your choice bro. just dump the pinstripe for sure.

I'd say take off the pinstripe to. But if you decide to keep the red pinstripe, how about black rims with a color matching red lip? Just an idea ....

Those rims with red painted center caps, some tint and maybe red emblems would be different

Sorry the tint looks shitty, I photoshopped it on a mouse touchpad But it looks nice, def wanna keep the amber turn signals and paint the emblems red, but if you like the red on black I'd give it a shot.

I know some will get real pissed but you could make them time attack style too, or just get time attack knockoffs and not mess with it, but just trying to give you ideas that are different.

^^^ I like that a lot. Only thing is, I love the stripe, but it's too thick. I think it would look better if it was thinner to make it more subtle.

the pinstripe stands out too much

maybe go with a thinner stripe + a darker red

Red + Amber = odd
Neutralize the signals and get clears, no question.

And the pinstripe is too thick, but a red pinstripe on a black car sure is something I haven't seen before.
I think the keep/remove pinstripe decision is really up to your personal taste. But as has been noted, it would look a lot better if it were thinner.
A thin red pinstripe would really accent a red/black theme in a fairly unique way.
I definitely see potential here for a nice looking car.

About the emblems, I don't know. I personally think it'll be too much, but you won't know until you try it. Something that sounds interesting to me: paint them red, and then do one light coat of black over them OR mix up a good portion of red with a little bit of black. I actually think that could look pretty hot.

I think you should blackhouse your headlights. I think it would look good with the style you seem like you're going for.

NOW GET TO WORK
