Short shift 2.2

Anyone thought about cutting an inch or so of the shifter and rethreading it to accept the knob? Ive installed the cable relocater from b&m and would like a little shorter throw.

I've got a short throw adapter from DC and also a shift knob from them. I love the way it feels..reduced throw like 40%. I'm not sure if cutting the pole would be good for it or not...

Have to thank my brother (prelude owner) since there were no replies to this (but there were 24 replies to Anyone replaced their horn.....?). I may be in the wrong forum
