rust in the sunroof area
On my CL, there's a bit of rust that's starting to form, you can only see it my sunroof is opened, and your head is at eye level with the the roof of the car, it's in the groove area where the sunroof tucks in when it's closed, do you guys think acura will be able to fix it? and if not, what is my best option?

oh yeah one more thing, I think it's because a bird shitted on my my sunroof, and some got in between the sides of the sunroof, and then the shit eventually ate away at my paint.
I dont know if Acura will be able to fix it for you but you should get your ass to the body shop and have them fix it. My last car had the same problem. I ignored it and eventually the rust went eating away at the metal. You should take it a.s.a.p. because that way they should be able to sand it away and repaint that small section without it even being noticable since it's inside where the glass slides.
You have rust on your car already? WTF! You still have your rust and corrosion warranty, right? I'd think so... well, that sucks that you have rust already... at least it's in an inconspicuous place

if you dont have it under warranty anymore... heres a quick solution...
if the rust is only surface rust.. buy scotchbrite pads(ruff pad, like brillo, but not as harsh) it works like sand paper but better.... tape off the area not to cause abrasions to rest of the paint.. sand off the rust and buy white touch up paint and white touch up clear coat.... do it yourselfer that will stop the rust from forming again and allow you to still look good and be sane... beside no one will really see it anyways!!!
