I keep reading about the AEM V2. But what about the AEM short ram?? Does it fit the same way as the V2?? Same power???? any xtra mods?????? just wondering since it seems alot cheaper than the V2 on the AEM website.

The short ram, is what it says, a short intake, it is not a cold air intake, which dips down into the fenderwell, I don't know what you mean by fit the same, because the short ram only fits into the engine bay, where as a CAI dips down, so all you would see is pipe. The V2 definately puts out more HP, but with an intake, I don't think that it's that huge of a difference. I know from reading this forum for a few years that people on here definately prefer the V2, though more expensive, it is AEM's best intake, (hence the most expensive). However, if you aren't lookin to drop 2-300 on an intake, the short ram will still be a good improvement. But if you're really lookin for the horses, then spend the extra for the V2. My
