f0de,

talk to Scott (Clpower), I think he can help you out...he's got a NOS setup with his black 3.0

Yeah, I can't imagine what you're going through seeing how a stock 2.2CL has traction problems already.

I think the only real solution would be a LSD. We're all driving 1 wheel drive cars now... as soon as you lose traction on one wheel, all the power gets sent there.

It's your engagement point of your NOS and your launching technique...Scott is squeezing like 70 ...

h22a is slowly coming with an lsd tranny, to replace my ghd (gay honda diff).. and with drag slicks i've been practicing spraying right off the light.. like, pedal down to the floor rippin off clutch.. it catches.. i'm curious to see what runs better that or waiting till i get traction then spraying

Seeing as how the car launches perfectly when I drop the clutch at around 3500 with some throttle modulation, I'd say that you should hold off on spraying until it hooks up. There's no point in adding any power if the stock motor doesn't have any trouble breaking the tires loose.

hey fode,

not sure how your NOS works but mine you turn the switch on and when your at 100% throttle it's on, so at the track i launch like i did without NOS than hit the button as soon as i get traction and it was worked great last night. if my NOS is already on when i hit the gas i'll spin for days

I heard those ZEX kits are pretty nice. Sounds like it does the work for you. Just go for broke.

Ah, didn't notice the drag slicks. Still, if you're having traction problems, spraying isn't the solution!

spraying on the launch wasn't my intention, i was just screwing around with slicks and spray.. i usually launch and around 4 or 5 grand when i have traction and a good launch i'll spray in first
