my 97 CL has cloth seats and would really like to put a set of leather seats in the car and was wondering if there are any direct fit replacements that are not from a CL that will work or would it have to be from a 97-99 CL. I found a guy close by with 2001 TL seats (front and rear) and from the pictures they look close but not sure the seats will fit without any modifications. I read the NOOB guide but it had nothing about seats so figured i would ask to see if anyone knew of any direct fit seats that I could look for

no, i don't think that they are direct swaps for the seats. Some people have done the RSX and S2k swaps but they required new brackets.

Cant help you with the fronts abut I have a set of black leather rears. To my knowledge it would be a pita to do different rears.

don't you have a cloth armrest too?
have to swap that if you swap the seats i would think, as it would look too out of place
just look through local junk yards for cl's

yes I was going to swap out the whole interior, I have a buddy that can cover the arm rest if I can't find one because they own a furniture refinishing shop but thought maybe I could find some to fit.
Yeah I know, I really want gray but may talk to you about your steering wheel air bag if I get the steering wheel I am thinking about. Guess I am going to have to go black since there is no gray leather/wood steering wheels that match the 97 color

people have swapped integra seats, s2000 seats, rsx seats, i think the only direct swaps would be 94-97 accord seats or 1st gen CL seats, anything else would take some extra work on the seat rails

Yea but you can make anything fit. Hell the guy i sold the front seats to put em in a truck lol.
