Had any one experienced any problems with the seat heaters?

It seems like it was an escalating problem: first the display light went out, but the on/off indicator still worked as well as the heater. Then the on/off indicator light went out, but the heater still worked. Now, nothing works.

I checked the fuses and from what I can tell, both the driver and passenger seats run off the same fuse. If I'm wrong then the dealer must of taken one out cause there was only one in there, and my seat heaters use to work.

If any had to have it worked, what was the cost and what was the malfunction?

My LED's on my buttons have been out since I got the car. I have till March to get mine fixed under warranty.
Take it back to the dealer if you're still under warranty.

how come mine doesnt have seat warmers? was that a 3.0 option only?

I don't believe it was a 3.0 only option. I'm sure the 2.2 or 2.3 had premium package options available. I know it is a leather seat only option though.

seat warmers are on premium package only--
i've heard of problems with the seat warmers wires being badly placed and somewhere along the wire they get loosened enough that they dont work :/??

try doing a search to see if anything comes up

thats why i ask, because i have the premium 2.3 with leather, and i dont have the seat warmers, unless the button is like hidden and i havent found it..

Ive got a 97' 3.0...ive got seat warmers. I got some of my seat lther replaced on the drivers side and the shop called me and told me the wires on the drivers side warmer were freied and gone, & then warmer on the D side wont work anymore...my passenger one still works though....
The shop said theres been alot of problems from where the wires were placed in your seat. From what i know, they run under the first crease in your seat (under your thighs) and that they freigh and break all the time

nevermind, i just looked in my manual....It says the seat warmers are only for the 3.0 with optional leather. Mine is a 2.3 premium with leather..

Yeah, you would see the buttons if you had them. They are on the console by the shifter and the heated mirror buttons are by the power window buttons.
