Screeching noise...

Screeching noise...
I get a screeching noise when I start my engine when it's cold that last about 5-10 sec and goes away. I also noticed that my compressor belt is glazed on the far left side. Could it be the belt hitting something while spinning causing this noise. I need help on finding a solution...

Either it's spinning or the belt needs dressed, or a tension issue. Def a belt though you're on the right track
