scratched windshield...

well they look like scratches... where the wipers swing... at nite glare is unbearable... when seen from the outside it looks good.. but from inside u can see the track of the wipers... i never had bad wipers on the car i change them all the time... (too much rain in south fla) but is there anyway to solve this?

weird? I've never changed my wipers in 2 years and my windshield is fine. It doesn't rain too much here though.

Are you positive they are scratches?

i got the same marks on mine

since we live in fl, the insurance company has to pay for new windshields if they are damaged. I dont know it it covers scratches but it will cover cracks if that gives you any ideas =)

I heard from some members they had luck with a windshield scratch remover. http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=11017 GRIOT'S GARAGE GLASS POLISH. I got some but haven't tried it yet. I got both but after some testing on test glass i think we just need the fine. I haven't used it fully yet because you need the machine to get it nice i heard. I did a small piece by hand in the corner it look like it did it a bit, but need to do some more. If this doesn't work, u can try to go some glass specialist, some go to ur house and do it there and try to buff out the scratches (this i know they can do). Hey is is cheaper than getting a new windshield.
