On my son's '97 2.2 there is a deep scratch (vertical) on the middle of the plastic rear bumper. Any known way to fill in scratch and smooth out to help buy the bumper? Any other ideas?

 

The best way is to go to your local AutoBody/Paint shop, and have them paint and blend the scratch together. I had a horrible dent on the right rear side of my car, and they did an excellent job of fixing it. Heck you can't even tell there was anything there.
