I think it was a very fair review... The solara scored higher for the transmission which isn't hard to see, scored better in ergonomics, probably because the climate controls on the CL are horrendous.... it also had optional side airbags and traction control, both of which I would have sprung for if the CL had them.
But I still would have gone with the CL because its fun to drive and I prefer the looks of it To bad they didn't review a model with the dark interior; their complaint about the tan interior having too many hues seems valid.

I actually got the new "Acura Style" magazine and my car is in it (well not mine) but the 97' 2.2 CL... its on a timeline. Says first ACURA made in America. Anyone else see it? There is a new RL on the cover.

And yes, we would stomp the solara in a race, and the ack looks better than the toyoter.

I would have to disagree with the Drivers Comfort rating. My cousin has a solara, and the ride comfort is the same as my moms camry. The CL feels sexy against my fat ass. (too much info?)
