Dude, if you knew anything about those cars is that they have horrible engines. My buddy blew his up as well.

 

Funny story, they do have horrible engines, my g/f has a 97 grand am and it's a piece of shit, hole in the gas tank, exhaust has fallen off 3 times, ignition is broken, i had to open a credit card to get the damn thing fixed, not fixed yet though, it's been out of inspection since june been sittin outside my house since october-november sometime.

On a side note, my boy just blew his motor in his 4 banger eclipse today, called me from the side of the road laughin(think he wanted to cry) cuz he was tryin to sell it.

 

I mean its hard not to feel bad for the guy cuz that is probably his own mode of transportation, but in turn. Its like seeing an accident happen. You want to see one happen, but hope no one gets hurt.

 

 

I only say that cuz it seems the only ones i ever see involve me. It would be nice to see someone else get into on.

It's not just the 4-bangers that suck... The 3.1L V6's also suck ass. My girlfriend and her parents (once loyal GM fans who I'm slowly converting to honda/acura) have had 3 or 4 of those engines go... Head gaskets, tranmissions, everything... I wouldn't touch a GM with a 39 and a half foot pole.

 

lol. I seen this Toyota Corolla blow its engine on I-95, probably was going 70-75mph. Now that I couldn't laugh at but this Grand Am blowing at 45mph sounds funny.

To continue the laughing at other's misery I just watched a brand new trailblazer spin out, do a complete fishtale, then smash front first into a cement wall and spin around smashing the back bumper too. The guy was fine, but he was driving like an idiot, all he did was smash up both his bumpers and front grill, so I wasn't too worried about him, he was fine, just bashed up his car. This was RIGHT in front of me on a bridge that was somewhat icey and I calmly drove right past him after I made sure he was alright, YAY X-ICE snow tires

It was horrendous driving, he spun around 180 deg, tried to recover, swung around, bounced his REAR bumper off the wall, then tried to recover and spun his front end around and slammed his front bumper and grill into the wall, may have messed up his hood too, couldn't tell, but BOTH his bumpers were laying on the bridge and no airbags stupid plastic suv's
