it can be done BUT u may loose cruise control because my plug didnt plug in. I have a 99 and its an 03 steering wheel. horn works im not to sure about the airbag because my srs light was already on cuz my airbag sensor is disconnected . The airbag plug pluged right in togetther from my stock to the s2k wheel so maybe im note sure. Other than that it took me all of 15 20 mins to install if i hadnt messed up the calibration of the srs reel

Thanks guys and yes they do come in tan but are rare as hell.
playa the stock steering wheel never matched the wood grain it was all grey so lol i jsut changed it up from all grey to s2k black lol.
chris (black ack ) i didnt need a steering wheel puller the guy at the junkyard taught me a trick bang on oppsite sides of the steering wheels and it will fall right off lol.
BTW im changin the H symbol to an A im gettin an acura rsx air bag cuz there identical airbags differnt steering wheels tho.

they had infomercials for those where they brought in "professional" car thieves to try and break it and they said they couldn't.

Hah, I must be the only one in the world that thinks s2k seats, steering wheel, etc. look funny in a CL. Props for going through with the swap tho. Double props for that steering wheel removal tip. That tip will work on any steering wheel that is swapable right? I'm still considering a 2nd gen cl or mdx steering wheel swap. After the drop of course. Besides the airbag, looks like a clean install.

will this only fit for 99's or something? and i see that none of you guys got the airbag on. if you guys buy the airbag it'll fit right? because i've seen a lot of complete streering wheel + bag around. and im thinkin about picking one up.

If your wheel doesnt want to come off still after you bang on it, you can "hug" it and then pull it backward. Thats how I got the wheel off the Supra when I was changing it to the TRD wheel.

Speaking of the Supra, its in the OC, MD car show as we speak... My dirty CLS6 is here with me too! Sorry for the side note...

the only difference in the steering wheels between the 97 and the 98-99 is the airbag.
