S/C for Sale....

Feel free to lock this thread. I was simply just showing the 1st gen members this thread in case they don't browse the .net boards regularly. Thought it was a great deal.

Add "v-6-p-e-r-f-o-r-m-a-n-c-e-.-n-e-t-" after www without the "-" signs.

yeah, I noticed this a few weeks back and posted a thread about it in ramblings, (which got deleted after I made it) and I got a PM from a moderator saying they don't allow linking to "competing" sites, and since it has an Acura CL and TL section (even though it's deader than shit) they auto delete references to it. kinda fucked up if you ask me.

It'll run you about $100 to make it fit your engine. I forget what all is needed, but they are small things. But it's been talked about, just research it.

I've got the same car as you I looked into this.

CLdriver had his done on a 3.0, he posted the mods needed (reference: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85235)

--------
1) The AC lines coming from and to the AC compressor must be carefully rerouted to accomodate the pulley for the SC.
2)The Power steering cooler line that runs below the battery box must rerouted to allow the battery box to seat properly.
3)The Battery box that comes with the SC kit must shortened to allow it to sit on the frame rail.
4)The coolant reservoir attachment on the battery box must be modified to allow the bottle to sit lower, the bottle must be rotated 180 degrees to clear the adjustmen point on the headlamp assembly.
5)You cannot attach the Fuel pressure regulator to the firewall as it is done in the Accord, instead attach it to the bracing below the cowling.
6)The hood must have a 6 inch section of one of the inside support beams removed to clear the Blower case.
--------

I don't know where around me could do that, so the idea has been kind of scrapped for now. But, if you want to get a comptech supercharger, you could compare $2200 to $4000 new (http://www.comptechusa.com/store/sc_av6.html).

Still, only 50hp and with our tranny is questionable at best.
