RPM Gauge

Does anyone know if its possible to replace just the RPM gauge? I kinda messed mine up when i was putting on my indiglo gauges, cuz i thought i was supposed to pull the old one off...its only the RPM gauge, and it doesnt function properly at all, if i floor, it itll go from 0-5 and then just stay there. Some guy in a shop told me i would have to replace the entire console..true? thanks

take it to a speedo shop and they can probably help you. It could just be a simple fix

no u dont have to

u dont have to replace the entire gauge cluster. when i put my gauge faces on i broke the temp and fuel gauges. i was told u have to replace the whole thing. but if you goto http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/ then u can buy just the gauge that u need.

when u take out the whole gauge cluster from the car there are a bunch of screws on the back of it. i think that there are 3 screws for every gauge. just unscrew the ones for the tachometer and it will come out. then when u get your replacement just screw those in. real simple (not at first but i messed around with it alot so now it is)
