Yesterday, a few times I started my car, my car was idling really rough in Park. Like almost like it was coughing. Also, when I shift it into Reverse it was really rough backing up. But once I put it in drive, it was fine, except the gas pedal was really stiff.
Might it have anything to do with me driving 400 kms the day before? I have no idea...

It seems to be fine now, but that was really weird and got me worried. Any clues anyone?

 

if the gas pedal is stiff i would lube the cables attatched to the throtttle body. and take off ur intake tube an make sure theres no carbon (black stuff) built up around the butterfly valve. inside the throttle body. do this with the car off by the way.

 

I also seem to be 1000 rpm off what I usually am at. When I'm cruising in D4, I'm under or 2000 rpm when its usually closer to 3000 rpm...any other ideas?

 

that all depends on how fast u are goin and what gear the actual tranny is in.
